Pours barely translucent apricot with a thick and persistent buttercream head. Aroma delivers piney and slightly dank hops, zesty grapefruit and orange, crisp malt, a little sweet tropical character. Flavor offers piney and mainly woody hops with a dank touch, zesty and slightly sweet orange and grapefruit, crisp fresh malt, subtle tropical sweetness. Texture provides fair body, peppy fizz, and a hoppy and citrus finish. Nothing elusory - or illusory - about it.

Thanks to PaleAleRider for this one for my birthday, from the brewery. Pours a slight hazy golden-amber colour with a beige frothy cap, decent retention and lacing. Grassy leafy green hop nose over sweet caramel malts with hints of berries. The flavours are the same, but nicer as the dryness cuts the sweetness of the malt. Goes down better, with the bitterness in the middle, but the finish being dry. Awesome to try, but not one I would do again. Nice homage to Metallica's debut album.

Draught. Colour - Murky orange-gold like pale orange juice, topped with a creamy white cap. Aroma - light grains, pine resin, oranges and passion fruit. Palate - Full mouthfeel. Flavour - malty sweet, citrus flavours, resiny, and bitter finish. A pretty good beer.

Pours dark chocolate with a thick tan head. Aroma provides milk chocolate, roast malt, vanilla, a hint of coffee. Flavor gives lots of sweet, creamy chocolate plus vanilla, roast malt, a coffee and slightly earthy underpinning. Texture offers firm, viscous body and peppy fizz. Makes sheltering in place a little sweeter.

Pours hazy, barely translucent apricot with a thick and fairly persistent parchment head that pillows a little. Aroma delivers funky, resiny hops plus tangy citrus, fresh malt and sweet tropical notes. Flavor features more tropical character and woodier and less funky hops, hella delicious with a nice hoppy and fruity finish. Texture presents good body and lively fizz. Back to the brewing future.
