IMO: This beer is limited by its probable adjunct content. Corn and/or Rice; an American Style Adjunct Lager. Yeah, it's very good...to perhaps an 88% if given a percentile rating?
Schlitz Erlanger, by comparison...a virtual 100% for an American Style Lager...probably didn't contain adjuncts.
It seems very difficult to find ASL's instead of ASAL's nowadays. Are Europeans still brewing German Rules' Lager Beers? If so, which ones?? Are there any that are reasonably possible to find in the US??? In NYS???? In CNY?????
This review: Special K sez Corny, but I'd say Grainy instead...not specifically a Corn flavor. I've drank a few Mexican corny beers lately. They seem to use "Corn Meal" flavor; it's not merely adjunct corn flavor coming through the mix.
