Here's a supplement to the above...and I agree 100% with Jay. Schlitz put the gun to their own head and pulled the trigger, to try and save $$$. Couldn't they have found a "higher road" solution to their dilemma? They unwittingly turned the marketplace over to Bud...the rest is (sad) history.
Didn't post any big site reviews, because they all appear to be outdated. Some of their User Reviews are better than others...as always...but I think a recipe change came with the label change! Can't find this bottle's label online...at least not yet. Alright, I'll open the second bottle I bought and try to be like a pro beer taster.
Pours a lacing white foam. Beer is translucent gold-yellow. Aroma is pleasant; mostly wheat...with others, faintly. Nothing overpowers.
Taste: This Summer Wheat Beer is rounder and better than the good faux lager above. Still have those in the fridge. I'll drink 'em eventually.
Also got a can of Lite. For a light beer, it may be the best. But it costs more than Keystone Light, which I find to be a decent light beer at a budget price.
