Of the following US breweries which is your favorite? (Part II)

-Avery
-Boulevard
-Deschutes
-Great Divide
-Great Lakes
-Hair Of The Dog
-New Glarus
-Southern Tier

Part II of the poll with the tons of controversy! If you still don’t see your favorite, then don’t worry there will be a part III.

Once again pick your favorite from this list and we’ll do a playoff format similar to what was done with the beer quotes poll questions.

Nice list! I'm going with Deschutes - thanks to slowrunner77 for introducing me to this one!

This one seems a lot harder than the first one!! My vote goes to New Glarus. Avery is too inconsistent. Deschutes can be pedestrian. Great Divide...solid. Great Lakes...solid. Hair of the Dog...doesn't make enough bottled product, but what they do is solid. Southern Tier is solid and was a close vote. I just haven't had enough Boulevard to even consider them. So for me, New Glarus with Southern Tier a solid #2.

Deschutes without a doubt! Hopefully I am there tonight [:D]. I had to think about HoTD for a little bit, but they don't have the variety that Deschutes have.

All these breweries make pretty solid brew. New Glarus numero uno. Southern Tier was a close second. Great Divide and Great Lakes kick ass. HOTD is over-priced. Boulevard's selection is pretty unimaginative but good. Deschutes is predictably Pac NW. Avery is great, but I always forget about them.

Great Divide and New Glarus also in my top 10 or so. And the "others" are all good. [:D]

I agree except Boulevard has had some really nice creative brews in the Smokestack series.

My vote also goes to New Glarus.

So yesterday I went to Deschutes in Portland and had Collage. It is a blend of 2 year old barrel aged Dissident, Stoic, Adam and Fred. Time to wrap up this poll.

This is crazy! I checked out the New Glarus stats on in and they have the exact same average, 3.629, as Deschutes on BeerPal. Deschutes has one more beer at 62. they are both tied for 68th place for breweries, but that number is deceiving because brewers with lots of beers are always lower on the rankings because they don't get enough reviews. But New Glarus does have 55% more reviews than Deschutes.

Was it on tap or bottle? I was waiting to try it on tap.

I will have to abstain from voting on this one. Unlike the first group of brewers which I have tried a variety of thier beers, this group 3 of them I have never tried and 2 others my contact with has been very limited. That being said I am a fan of Southern Tier.

Every drop of Collage was bottled, so even at the brewpub I was given a chalice and a bottle.

Choose Great Lakes due to locality.
If New Glarus were sold here, it may be a different story....
