November 3rd is International Stout Day, how well do you like stouts?

-I love stouts, my favorite style of beer!
-I like stouts but not my favorite style.
-I guess stouts are ok, I won’t turn one down.
-I don’t like stouts at all, get it away!
-No ales! Only lager biers!

Do you drool upon sight of a stout, cringe with fear and disgust, or something in between?

I drool. I can't help it. Especially with the thought of something new. I love stouts....hmmm...sounds like a good name to me!

Over a third of my beers at 4.5 or higher are stouts. Of course, the top beers on any site are top-loaded with imperial stouts (and belgian strong ales, sours, quads...).

My favorite style may actually be a) somewhat seasonal b) subject to availability c) subject to mood... but a good stout is hard to beat.

Stouts - takes a very skilled hand to craft. And to work with the malts to bring out the licorice, chocolate, tobacco, anise, coffee, and dark fruits so well associated with the style.
