The brewery operation of The Pub With No Beer Brewery officially opened on New Year’s Eve with a huge launch party of more than 500 guests. The first of our Murray’s brand handcrafted beers were poured following a ‘blessing of the brewery and beers’ ceremony officiated by Father Peter Jones of St Patrick’s School, Macksville. Capacity brewery tours operated all afternoon, led by Head Brewer Graeme Mahy. Participants were treated to a tour of our new showpiece microbrewery – believed to be the best of its kind in Australia – before moving to the bar for a tasting of our Murray’s-brand launch beers - ‘Murray’s Nirvana Pale Ale’, ‘Murray’s Sunrise Wheat Beer’ and ‘Murray’s Swinging Arm Dark Ale’. The Pub With No Beer Brewery equipment has been handcrafted from copper and steel by artisans in Czechoslovakia and the United States.
