He went first to the USA at the turn of the century and worked in various breweries there. After returning to his homeland, he brought a wealth of experience to the newly founded brewing establishment. His business was quickly built up from a small brewing house into what would at the time have been regarded as a modern brewery. Today it is a medium-sized brewery, managed by qualified master brewer Michael Hösl. The brewery's aim is to produce speciality beers to the highest standards, complying with the Bavarian purity regulations.
