**** As of September 2020, it's been several years since the brewery actually produced any beer, but it is still operating as a legal business **** Kohler Brewing Company Inc. was established in 2009. Located in Edmonton, it is a privately held business founded by Dieter Kohler and operated by Ryan and Garrett Kohler. The Company will issue its first shipment of Kohler Lager in May 2010. The lager, based on a Kohler family recipe originally from Germany, is a pure beer with no additives or fillers. One of the most prominent and respected brew masters in North America, Eric Buehner, guides the brewing process for Kohler Lager. Mr. Buhner has received numerous medals and awards throughout his distinguished career including Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals from the North American Brewers Association. Kohler Lager will be available in liquor stores - initially in Alberta, then in Saskatchewan, and Manitoba
