The Great Dane Pub brings Wisconsin’s number one brewery/restaurant concept to Wausau! Located just off highway 39 at exit 191, The Wausau Great Dane, situated in the former Hereford & Hops building at 2035 Sherman Street, opened for business in May 2009. Extensive interior renovations have created the ultimate brewpub experience for the Wausau community, and the easy-on, easy-off highway location is perfect for travelers headed to summer lake destinations or to the Granite Peak ski area in winter.
