Links: Sign Up to Participate:In 1977, the Gösser Brewery came under the umbrella of the newly founded Steirerbrau (with the Puntigamer and Reininghaus brands). In 1983, over one million hectolitres of Gösser beer were produced for the first time. During 1997, Steirerbrau merged with Brau AG to form Brau Union Österreich AG. For the brewery in Göss, integration into the largest Austrian beverages production and supply group has meant the long-term securing of both investment and expansion.
