The BIERFABRIEK is a place right in the center of Amsterdam, where you can casually drink and eat and where it is possible to tap your own beer if you want. We have our own brewery with a capacity of 300 liters per brew. The two beers we brew, are a dark 'Porter' and a red ale. Our specialty are whole game-hens of approx 500g which are grilled on our charcoal-fired barbecue. We work with as much organic and socially responsible products as possible. The BIERFABRIEK is an initiative of the Italian Andrea Possa, former world Bartender / Mixology. In his native country he saw a growing number of successful brew pubs arise. After his wanderings, Possa has worked in restaurants in New York, Cannes, Montreal, Milan and Amsterdam, he decided to set up a brew pub in the Netherlands. Together with two partners, the concept was conceived for the BIERFABRIEK and a suitable location was found right in the center of Amsterdam; Rokin 75, also with an entrance on the Nes. Possa, "We believe the combination of affordable quality and enjoyment is possible in the hospitality industry. We do not have many products, but every product we have, has its own story, and we sell it at a reasonable price.
