Not every 6-year-old dreams of one day starting his own brewery, but this one did. Sitting with his parents in a pub in Northern Ireland, young Darren McGeown got an idea—what if he could create a place of his own with this much laughter, comradery, and joy? Fast forward many, many years, and Darren was still pursuing that dream. He wanted to create that same atmosphere and environment: a place where strangers could become a community. A massive fan of The Libertines, the name Arcadia came to mind, and Darren’s dream started to become a reality. Located in Edmonton’s Manchester Square, Arcadia Brewing Co. promises tasty, local craft beers and good times. When you come through the doors at the brewery, you can expect to feel like you’re at a block party or BBQ surrounded by old friends. Here, you’ll find people united by a passion for very crushable beer, laughter, and kindness. Our goal? To remind you that there were no good old days, these are the good old days.
