On launching Appleford Brewery Co., Andrew wanted to produce real ale that was neither mass produced, and potentially lacking in character and substance, not home produced beer, which can suffer from lack of experience and appropriate resources. Appleford Brewery is an 8 barrel plant producing 288 gallons or 2304 pints per brew. The plant was installed by Porter Brewing Co. Ltd, Britains foremost micro brewery installer. Appleford Brewery supplies to the free trade and wholesalers throughout Oxfordshire and the Thames Valley. Our beer is real ale, brewed with passion and a commitment to quality, using only the finest ingredients.
