The Amber refers to the beautiful dark yellow and orange color. Not quite as hoppy as other Ambers, it is well balanced and leaves the pallet full with a rich creamy feel.

    Another pedestrian beer from Tied House, one with nice balance in flavor and aroma, yet unspectacular in every way. Good or bad? Well, I guess good since no one likes a bad beer, but at least you remember it being bad. This? Unforgettable and not a repeat purchase. Sweet, undefined malts in the aroma, more caramel-like on the palate. Lightly herbal and plastic, like smelling an undefined random spice container. No noticeable flaws during my pint, but again, not much to remember about either. BevMo seems to be pushing hard this Tied House stuff.

    sampled on 8/28/10. 22oz bottle with mitch. pours an amber/copper color. thin head. im pickin up some sweet malty aroma. something odd here. not sure what it is. diacetyl? taste is caramel and again that weird off flavor i cant put my finger on. very little carbonation. thin, lifeless beer. mouthfeel is thin and watery. thin body. aftertaste is a little sweet.

    Sampled on 8/28/2010. This amber ale pours a medium orange amber color from a 22oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is caramel, bready, sweet, and something that is not quite right, kind of in that acetone/hair spray/wet dog area. A medium bodied amber ale. The malts are caramel and sweet. The hops are herbal. Little to no carbonation. The truth be told this taste like a really poor home brew, it taste under attenuated and thin, with no real life or backbone. It could be a bottling issue or just a bad batch of beer. Whatever it is, it’s NOT good. Mouthfeel is thin. Finish is clean. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

    A nice amber ale. Aroma is nice and a little sweet. Appearance is dark orange. Mouthfeel is its best feature as it goes down very smoothly. Flavor lacks punch but is an average beer.
