Pours an attractive deep reddish brown coloured body with a small white head. A nice, prevalent moderately hopped mouthfeel. It has aromas of oak, earth and licorice. Flavors of caramel, ripe apples and cinnamon.

The nitro tap at Roman's poured an amber with a thick creamy white head. Full malt and subtle hop nose and flavor although the taste was somewhat flat, rather than the smoothness and balance I was expecting. Also, I didn't find the hop experience I was hoping for, after hearing that it's dry-hopped. Called a 'one-of-a-kind lager' by the brewer (referring I guess to both the dry-hopping and the nitro push), it leans more toward the Vienna Lager rather than the American Red style by my taste. Nice mouthfeel and very easy drinking, but otherwise unremarkable.
