Tasted at the brewpub on 7/9/2009. This porter pours a medium to dark amber gold color from the tap. Small sized beige head. The aroma is chocolate, coffee and a touch nutty. A medium bodied porter. The malts are roasted, chocolate and coffee. The hops are earthy. Nice balance. Good carbonation. There is a touch of a nutty flavors is this one as well. It just so light in color, not that that is a bad thing, you just expect a porter to be much darker in color. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Dark red color but not much head. Awesome coffee aroma. Roasty. Finishes with a dry roasted bitterness. One of the better beers I've had at this brewpub.
