Bottle: Part of a trade but have chugged this many times in pubs and parties in Dauphin and Brandon. The Quintessential Manitoba "off-sales" beer...the beer of country cruising and fishing....more of these bottles and cans dot the Man. landscape than any other beer. Deep yellow, fizzy, light grainy-husk smells..sweet, grainy taste, stale hops, a tad harsh with a fast finish. The hop bite most brewers hope for is replaced by an unaged harshness to this cheap-assed drink....ot no idea why this brand survived in Man. and white seal tanked.

Direct from Manitoba to you! This was a beer I first had many years ago and my initial reaction was............Only in Manitoba....pity. Canada has since removed a lot of those interprovincial trade barriers so it has spread somewhat. This was a beer that made a lot of highway miles between Manitoba and Chicago in the late 70s. One of the better tasting Labatt productsm and always went down quite well after a game.

A decent beer. It feels good to drink after a long day of work at the old mine. At least I think it would. A heavier tasting beer that does the job for the price but it isnt anything special.

Similar to OV, this beer will get the job done. Comes in a snazzy little red bottle, looks good, tastes like draft and really goes down easy. Costs around 16.50 CDN for a case
