Toasted malts, plenty of bread and very faint dark fruit in the background. Brown/ ruby colored body when held to the light with a thin slightly tannish head that leaves some decent lace.Flavor is slightly toasted bread and not much else, some bitterness on the finish.

Pours a cloudy amber/burned orange color with a one finger head that disappears quickly. Aroma is kinda bread like with a little noticeable malt and hops. Lots of carbonation in the glass. taste is fairly hoppy with a pine tone to it. Finishes off non existent to the pallet. Overall a nice brew. Another great brew from Odell.

Sampled on 10/1/2012 at Odells Brewery. This English Strong Ale pours a dark amber color from the tap. Small to medium sized off white foamy head. The aroma is malty, sweet and fruity. A medium to full bodied English Strong Ale. The malts are fruity, caramel and sweet. The hops are earthy. Nice balance. A touch spicy, but a big full round mouthfeel. Nice ‘lighter’ winter warmer. Very drinkable. I could see myself drinking a lot of this one if I could get it. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

Sampled from bottle. Pours clear copper-amber with a thick off-white head and thick lacing marking each sip mark. Its aroma is quite malty with molasses notes. Slightly sweet with bold dark pit fruits and some hop spice. Full bodied and smooth. A fine winter warmer.

Pours medium-amber with perfect clarity and tall, frothy head. The aroma is of toasted malts and bread with alcohol barely notable. The flavor is surprisingly, maybe disappointingly, subdued. Balanced with the alcohol well hidden. Fine tasting, but kind of watery overall for a strong ale. Thin body by style and slightly undercarbonated.

This beer pours clear brown with a white head that doesn't stick around very long. The aroma isn't too impressive, malty, nutty and not much else. The mouthfeel is pleasant, medium or a little heavier. Carbonation is right on. The flavour is hoppy, strong citrous punch that fades quickly but is nice while it lasts. Could be a good session beer but the 6% might limit it's use as such.

The Isolation poured a copper-orange with a thick and creamy white head that had pretty good retention. The aroma is kind of bready and toasted malt. It has a toasted malt initial taste with a very mild hoppy, piney finish. Overall, a very nice winter warmer that goes down very smoothly.
