In the darkest part of the year, the sun appears to stand still in the sky before slowly moving in the opposite direction, signaling longer days ahead. This captivating dark sour illuminates the senses with a combination of roasty malt flavours and lactic sourness which come together with tart cranberry to produce some unexpected and otherworldly flavours!

Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7

Part of their Mix Pack Vol. Nine, pouring a clean copper brown colour with a frothy light mocha-coloured head leaving a little bubbly ring on the brew. A nice blend of roasted malts and fruity aromas, with the sourness. Quite sour in the taste as well, giving some puckering. The cranberries are stronger in the taste, taking over the malts which are harder to find. Dry finish with a tad of tart and roasted malt flavours lingering. Gets a little hazy at last pour. Almost seems more like cherries in here - but a nice dark fruity sour one.
