Vicar Winter has a reddish brown color with a nice tinted foam and a full versatile palate. It is brewed with three types of malt and two types of hops. The winter beer is the first Vicar Beer with herbs and ideal to enjoy during cold winter nights. Vicar Winter is available from November to March (subject to availability) only.

Clear dark ruby, tanned lasting, lacing foam head. Aroma is light caramel, some hop, some spices. Complex taste, mix of bitterness, caramel and spices - pepper. Nice aftertaste - good beer. (Velp 201602)

2012 edition. Pours a copper colour with ruby highlights, lots of particles floating all over, a frothy beige head and great retention for a brew with such a high alcohol content. 3mm coats the brew and seems to stay there. Big molasses aromas with dark fruits (plum, dates). The alcohol is very well-hidden with a wet mouthfeel and no burning, nor warming at all. Starts on a rusty hop taste, but this seems to balance itself. Roasted and caramel malts, spices, hints of anise and beautiful hops. A very nice winter warmer as it breathes.
