Available on or near the ‘glorious 12th’ of August bringing the start of the grouse shooting season. This orange brown beer is a light aromatic, flowery beer that has been inspired by the grouse beaters and moorland around Masham. A golden mid-gravity bitter with initial sweetness balanced with a moderate hop bitterness. Dry-hopped with Fuggles to give a delicate aroma complemented by a subtle hint of moorland berry, a favourite with grouse.

Cask@GBBF2007. Amber colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is caramel, fruits and much nectar/tropical fruit. Some slight wood is there too. Flavour is bitterness and tropical fruits along with some wood. Aftertaste is mainly nectary.
