Not sure what they were trying to do with this beer but it seemed to have some funky spices put into it to snazz it up. Poured out amber in color with a brief head. The aroma (hopefully this doesn't break the sarcastic review criteria) was of cloves, chili powder and dirty feet - in case you are wondering the combination wasn't pleasant. A bit light in body, but not too bad. Flavor was based on the sweet malt backdrop and the clove accent - hard to shake the chili powder smell during the tasting. This wasn't an old beer I sampled, it was just too weird - not recommended - and not at all in style to a witbier.
