Spearhead’s Oktoberfest Lager represents the way Bavarians celebrate Oktoberfest. It’s a 5.8% fuller-body, moderately-hopped, seasonal lager. It has a copper-red colour, great mouthfeel, and lots of flavour. Prost!

Can that pours a clean golden-amber colour with a big frothy very light-beige coloured head, great retention and lots of sticky foam lacing. Aromas of caramel malt base, some cereal notes, hints of wheat and hops. The taste shows the hops taking over to cut the malty sweetness. Still caramel, cereal, but not syrupy. The mouthfeel is fairly thinner, so goes down nicely for a 5.8% ABV beer. Well done for an Oktoberfest.
