Orange peel and sweet malt aroma and taste, though it seems a bit malt-forward, possibly due to age...can't tell cuz they don't date the bottle. Nice full feel, but everything else is average at best. Bordering on imperial like bitterness, but the florals and citrus hop flavors are lacking.

Had this brew several weeks ago at Uptown and it was pretty sweet. Haven't tried a lot of Speakeasy stuff. Orangeish-golden straight out of bottle. Head is substantial. Nose is really beautiful. Taste is pleasant, modestly hoppy. Full bodied taste. Can't go wrong with this brew.

With orange peel and Citra Hops for the Triple rock Firkin Fest. Tasted from the firkin at the Triple Rock Firkin Fest on April 7, 2012. This IPA pours a medium orange gold color from the Firkin. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is citrus, orange peel and malt. A medium bodied IPA. The malts are fruity, cereal and sweet. The hops are citrusy and orange. Soft and round carbonation, as expected. Nice citrusy notes. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
