From Pt Roberts,WA Marketplace. Poured an off-white head over a body of clear and very dark copper. Very dark indeed for an IPA. Aroma featured some hop, not strong at all. Flavour has some nice hop bitterness. Mouth was very solid and smooth. Balanced finish, between hop bitter and some sweet malt. My first beer from this brewery, the second closest US brewery (after Boundary Bay) to my home. Why'd it take me so long?

(On cask at the PP Real Ale Fest 2006) Pours with a slightly cloudy amber body topped by a thin head with little lacing. It’s slightly sweet and malty with a nice hoppy kick, full of piney notes. The aroma has a slight mustiness, but, it’s not to evident. Medium bodied, slightly dry and a touch warming.

Nice looking IPA, in the glass, deep, warm orange with a gorgeous creamy and thick off white head..lovelly to look at. Aroma is fresh and of course of spicy hops! Slightly red grapefruit and confectioners sugar. Very hoppy IPA very tongue tingling some maltiness at ther end, then a long rolling bitterness finished of by a good "hop burb"..nice Very good mouthfeel with a long lingering and tasty bitterness. I liked this IPA, certainlly one for the hop heads but drinkable indeed.

22oz bottle. Orange gold color. Medium to large white foamy head. Aroma is floral, fruity and sweet. A medium to full bodied IPA. Malts are fruity and sweet, with hints of orange peel. Hops are grapefruit and citrus and piney. Fairly bitter India Pale Ale, yet there is a still a lot of malt fruit and sweetness to balance it. In other words, its most definitely a Pacific Northwest IPA! Smooth taste. The floral hops and orange don’t really show up till the finish. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is bitter.
