Sampled on 7/15/2011. This amber ale pours a light amber brown color from a 12oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity and sweet, caramel and slightly tart. A light to medium bodied amber ale. The malts are caramel, fruity and sweet. There is a touch of tartness going on here as well, not sure that it is intentional. The hops are herbal and earthy. Decent carbonation. A touch of citrus as well. Still not sure how I feel about a tart amber ale. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter and slightly tart.
