Awarded a Silver Medal in the World Beer Championships in the Amber Ale category for 1998, this is our flagship ale. It has a nutty malt flavor which is balanced by a citric hop flavor and a classic ale fruitiness. We distribute this ale on draft and in bottles throughout Northern & Central New York.

Presentation: It was poured from a brown 12 oz bottle into a pint glass. Appearance: The body has a nice golden amber color with good clarity and lots of visible carbonation. It forms a light creamy tan head that slowly fades to a very thin covering. Lacing is light and slick, sliding down just behind the body. Smell: The aroma has a subtle malty tone with lots of sweetness. Taste/Mouth feel: Its flavor is straight forward and simple. It has a big juicy malty body with mild hints of hops. The mouth feel has a thick solid texture that is just slightly slick with a medium body and soft yet active carbonation. Notes: Overall it is a good solid average Amber that is easily sessionable.

very nice and drinkable brew, beautiful amber color with nice creamy head. Excellent with food because it doesn't overwhelm; my new go-to beer. Just now available in FLorida, had it in NY few years back. Not sure where else to get it.

A great name for a beer that lacked complexity and body. A nice golden color with a bread-like aroma but the head fizzed out quickly and it lacked any taste at all.

Beer poured light amber color, little head or lacing. Aroma was biscuity/bready…very faint. The flavor was some caramel, but mostly bready biscuity flavor. Not all that rich. This is kind of a NB Fat Tire dumbed down (similar flavor profile). It was just ok.

Bottle: Poured a medium copper color ale with a huge slightly off-white head with average retention. Aroma of sweet fruity malt with some discreet bitter hops. Taste is very light overall with some sweet malt and a light bitter finish. I’ve seen worse amber but still, this one won’t go down in history.

Poured from the bottle a medium amber with large head that faded but never disapeared.Aroma of hops with malty undertones. The mouth feel was well balanced and enhanced the flavor. I was pleased with this one. I will be buying a sixer of this one.
