after all the red tape they had to go through over the last year to serve their own beer, it’s here. this one came out lightly carbonated, so they served it on nitro, which suited this flavorful ESB just fine. nicely compliments the malts and inherent sweetness in the beer, which the brewer said was not nearly as noticeable with CO2. Lively fresh aroma. Fuggle hops? can’t quite remember, but it smelled and tasted quite fresh. The body was quite nice and the slightly sweet finish was very well balanced. A solid first effort, and a great choice during the dog days of summer. Looking forward to more from this place. In the meantime, the good selection of rotating guest taps & bottles, not to mention this tasty brew, will have to do :) 9/09- had again, no NO2 this time. not as flavorful, more boring...gotta drop it a little. 3.6ish NO2, 3+ otherwise.
