Prohibition Lawless IPA is an uncompromising, overly hopped ale inspired by the 1920's brews that sat in underground tunnels and rail-cars destined for dry countries. This IPA attacks your taste buds with a crisp and hoppy profile that was demanded in the blind pigs and speakeasies of days gone by. Prohibition's complex, refreshing, honest flavors are craft brewed in small batches at a small unassuming brewery in British Columbia, Canada. Only the finest ingredients including pristine Canadian water and Cascade hops are used to deliver a beer so good you'd ask for it even if it was prohibited. Perfect for the experienced tavern traveler.

From BCLDB Nordel Crossing, in a bomber. Average pour, clear dark gold with a rocky white head. Aroma was a balance of citrus (grapefruit) and pine resin. Flavour mirrored the bouquet, with a decent mouthfeel and bitter finish. Pretty good first effort for this new brewery.

Quite reasonable IPA, nothing new or to write home about, but at the price might be positioned to drop Hop Head (Tree) and Red Racer (Central City) for the best value everyday IPA in these parts. All the flavours of cascade and american hops on a slightly heavier than medium body. Clean flavours, all very inviting. Good.
