There are no nuts in our Nut Brown Ale, the only nuts that come anywhere near it are the brewers. The nut brown refers to the dark colour and the slight nutty flavour that comes from the roasted barley. We have kept the hops to a minimum to allow the full malt flavour to be experienced. Thanks to the Kerplunks (www.thekerplunks.com) for providing the inspiration for the name as well as some great music that does not drive parents nutty.
