A pale amber ale brewed with 25% German malted rye for a distinct, spicy, “ryeness” which smoothes out the mouth feel while not interfering with the distinct citrus flavor of the American Hops. Caramel malts add to the flavor and color while providing a medium-light body. It finishes dry and crisp.

Sampled at GABF on 9/18/2010. The Pale Ale pours a light gold color from the tap. Small sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity and sweet. A medium bodied Pale Ale. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are citrusy. Nice carbonation. The rye adds a slightly spiciness to the beer. Crisp and clean. Lighter and refreshing. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
