Full-bodied English porter with a taste of licorice, coffee and a hint of smoke. A really stout, as such a must with a slight dryness and appropriate bitterness. Although it is 6.5%, the lightweight and stylish, with many flavors and great, rich lather. This beer is an original English Brown Porter, brewed from the same principles as in 1776

Draught@CPH BF 2011. Deep amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is caramel malts, burnt wet wood, some nuts, spices and mild toffeeish notes. Flavour is rather much the same with also some ashy notes.

At Copenhagen Beer Festival. Dark brown colour, moderate tan head. This is supposed to a classical English brown porter. Moderate roasty aroma, notes of coffee, hints of liquorice and smoke. The fairly dry flavour has also notes of mild coffee, and hints of liquorice, wood and smoke.
