Big thanks to Quake1028 for sharing this brew.
Pours dark dark brown with thin off white head. This beer has a big aroma of oak. Wow, really big oak. I also get roasted malts, alcohol, some sour cherries too. Along with a big aroma the flavor is rather huge as well with under ripe cherries and tart grapes. There’s also sweet malt, chocolate covered cherries and a solid oakiness. Wow (again), lots of flavor. I’m also getting some yeasty notes too. I wonder if my taste buds can take much more of an assault?
