Sept. 2006: RBESG 2006 Grand Tasting. ABV is 6.3%, OG is 1.070. Lovely chocolate aroma, roasty with notes of toffee too, hints of tar and liquorice. Flavour is malty and moderately roasty, pastry notes. Another fine beer from one of my favourite breweries.

Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm. Black with a light brown creamy head. Big aroma of black coffee, muscavado sugar, and plenty of roasted malts. Strong, yes, arabic coffee flavour which dominates with some light smokey and nutty undertones. Quite full body. Bitter coffee flavour in the aftertaste with small notes of piney hops. A coffee lovers delight. I like it.
