Nerv est une New England IPA houblonnée massivement au cultivar néo-zélandais Riwaka de chez Freestyle Hops, au nouveau et rarissime cultivar américain Zumo produit par Segal Ranch dans la vallée de la Yakima, ainsi qu'avec une touche de houblon ID-158 (Pink) de Jackson Hop Farm en Oregon. La combinaison du Zumo et du Riwaka en fait une bière des plus explosive développant des notes puissantes d'agrumes.

Hazy golden colour with an orange hue, a white head, decent stay and some foamy lacing waves. The aromas is quite different, interesting. It's really hard to describe, but almost a blend of wood, nuttiness, grassiness and vinous notes. Some melon notes come out, with the tropical and stone fruits in the base. Tarty-juicy mouthfeel with mild dryness in the end. Again, a nice mix of lots of flavours in the taste, but less woodiness and nuttiness. A good NEIPA with lots going on, such different notes that all work together.
