500 ml capped bottle, bought at the brewery. Poured in the original Debringer goblet a gushing, unfiltered and opaque golden-orange coloured H W with a minimum light beige foamy head that had a very short retention and some micro bubbles. Sustained carbonation. No lacing. The aroma is yeast, wheat malts, intense fruity, bananas, citrussy notes and a barnyard touch. The flavour is wheat malts, fruity, bananas and spicy, cloves and vanilla. The mouthfeel is quite thin and ( too )sweety. The texture is watery. This medium boided Hefeweizen has a dry fruity finish. Not bad at all, but lacking of stuff. A not exiting Hefeweizen from the Bamberger area.
