Bourbon Barrel Aged Big Bang Red was aged in Bourbon barrels for eight months and cellared for an additional three. It has a dark crimson color and a malty body to complement the Bourbon aroma and slight vanilla flavor.

Bottled in June. Not sure this beer is a beer that needed to be barreled. Bready and caramel malts, faded (too much so) hops and light-moderate whiskey notes. A little off. Not impressed with this brew I had been looking forward to.
