This Extra Special Bitter has a combination of both British and American malt and hops. Maris Otter, a British pale malt, imparts a slight bisquit-like flavor to this medium bodied, medium hopped, amber ale. Nuggett hops provide the bittering qualities, while Kent Goldings impart the flavors and finish.

Enjoyed at gabf 2014. It pours with a nice clear copper body that supports a near white head. The aroma is on the mild side where it offers up a little bit of apple fruitiness and maltiness and really not much else going on. The taste is malty as well as being a little bit roasted malts and some kind of pine hoppiness going on. Pretty interesting beer.
