Pours translucent chocolate with a good buff head. Aroma features clove, nutmeg, cinnamon, roast malt. Flavor offers spices, roast malt, a little molasses, a bit of wood - or is that woody hops? Texture presents good body and lively fizz. A good holiday ale.
