Copper penny colored, very clear. Sweet malt and some spice and sourness on the nose. Rich mouth with a lot of roastyness which seemed weird. Tiny light scotch flavor, very easy to drink and decent beer flavor just not a scotch ale, not sure what they used as a guide but if they didn't tell me this was scottish I wouldn't have guessed it.
