I love this stuff. This is a real Chicago favorite. Every teenage kid in the chicagoland area got drunk on this stuff first. Not only is it cheap (i get it for about $11.00 a 30 pack), its a pretty clean crispy tasting beer. Its nothing that you want to over analize, when served it ice cold on a hot summers day nothing beats it. If your extremley picky about the beer you drink don't even bother trying it, if your a blue-collar man's man your gonna like this stuff.

Poured into a glass, it a had yellow/gold color with some head. Cheap cost beer that is good for outdooors or at a ballgame if served ice cold. Average mass produced Wisconsin beer 'Offical Beer at for the Cubs at Wrigley Field"

Pours a clear medium yellow with a fizzy white head leaving some lacing. The aroma has some corn but also some bready grain and grassy hops faintly resembling a german pilsner. The flavor starts off with some light cooked vegetable and corn and is unfortunately not as good as the aroma. Some faint hop flavor and a light bitterness coming forward about halfway through. Mouthfeel is watery.

Tough beer to drink for those who like beer, and for those who like light beer swill. This beer has an aquired taste that you are better off not acquiring, but once you do then you know why I've had this more than once.

I've had this beer thousands of times. Very popular in the Chicagoland area over the last 40+ years. Quite possibly the best selling beer at old Chicago stadium. It's typical swill however....clear, pale yellow, huge white bubbly head that dies a quick death. Aroma is sweat socks and skink, and the flavout is just as vile....but it's a Chicago standard!

Picked this out of a handful of macro taps just because I haven't had it before. Pretty much no different than any other macro--pale yellow, watery, and very little taste.

Everything about this beer is average - and that's not all bad sometimes. You know what you're getting when you reach for this one - it's old-school honest, no-joke beer. Plain and simple.

A beer I had in Chicago years ago - now served at Smokies Stadium @ the Tennessee Smokies games - AA affiliate for the Chicago Cubs. This is the only place I've seen this beer in Tennessee. Pours a light clear golden yellow with a thin head but good lacing. Good carbonation. Aromas of sweet malts and decent hops. Taste is like a good summer lager - smooth with some sweet malts and some hops. A good summer ballgame beer.
