Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 9 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7

Pours out 100% black with no head. The aroma is strong of oak. The mouthfeel is just above average. The taste is unique pretty complex and gets better as it warms up.

    Aroma: 10 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 9 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 9

Pours opaque coffee sable with a fine-bubbled tan head. Whisky-soaked wood is the headliner of the aroma, while roast malt, molasses (should I say treacle?) and a bit of coffee serve as backup performers. Flavor delivers whisky, roast malt, woody, molasses and subtle coffee notes - this is a rich brew that one should sip s-l-o-w-l-y and savor. Is a bit on the sweet side, though. Mouthfeel presents viscous, heavy body and good fizz.
