A new brewer, a new beer. Have to say im a bit skeptical but this is pretty good. Aromas have lots of leather, roasted malts, tobbacco, with some dark fruit in there as well. Apperance and mouthfeel are normal for this type of brew. Flavor has some nice changes to it. Starts with an earthy leather, which goes to a dry coffee bitterness, lingering for a good while.As it warms the flavors change and are dicerible from one another, very nice. Best new stout that i have had in a while.
