Clear copper, small off-white lacing foam head. Strong hoppy aroma and man, stronggggg bitter taste. Like it. IF this is example of what coming, watch this brewer. (Houston 201501)

    Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7

Decent grapefruit and slight touches of pine and sweet oranges in the aroma department, would give it an 8 if it were a bit more noticeable.A clear deep burnt orange color, actually quite close to the color of a redfish the cap was thick and frothy due to an aggressive pour but its settled to a soapy film that leaves some respectable lace. Mouthfeel is almost syrupy, carbonation is slight. Flavor starts with grapefruit, its kinda muddled with the malts. All i really get out of the flavor is grapefruit bitterness. Overall its a solid IPA, not really complex or exciting. Decent none the less, and i like the redfish mermaid on the label.
