This is our Flagship Beer, the perfect American Pale Ale. This is a great year round beer that is sure to keep you coming back. A local favorite, this ale is named after the 5 - 10 foot waves that Flathead Lake is famous for during wintertime storms. Come visit us in the fall and enjoy our White Cap Pale Ale while you watch the waves come crashing in! AMERICAN PALE ALE – (APA) has a moderate to high hop flavor, often showing a citrus like American hop character. A clean malt profile supports this hop presentation. The ale's balance is typically towards the hop side, due to the late hop addition in the brewing process. The perfectly timed hop addition presents a lingering bitterness, adored by “Hop Heads” worldwide. APA encompasses a moderate to high hop bitterness with a medium to dry finish; our White Cap Pale Ale exemplifies this style.

I stumbled across this small microbrewery and tasting room on our recent trip through Montana and had to sample each of their 3 offerings they had available. Served in a logoed Flathead Lake pint glass, had a nice coppery golden color, short white head. Clean, crisp citrus hoppy smell that mirroed its flavor. Well balanced malt kept the hop bitterness from taking over. Very tastey, could easily be a favourite session beer, and a nice fit with their other offerings of a scottish ale and a porter. If you are headed past Flathead Lake, definatley worth a stop.
