The beer pours a slightly hazed metallic gold colour with a rocky off-white head which lasts a few minutes. Effervescence is very high and lacing is good. The aroma is cereal malts, caramel, pine, and citrus. So far it seems like an old school West Coast IPA. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is a nice mash up of caramel notes, piney flavours, and bitter citrus. Definitely worth trying again.

Oh, might I smell some diacetyl in here ?? I think so. Clean golden-amber colour with a big fluffy, frothy cap, good retention and lots of thick foamy lacing. Yep, buttery popcorn and caramel, even in the taste. Says notes of mango, pineapple and peach - might to try and pursue no diacetyl. There is a decent spiciness with some hops in here that do help a little, but not one I would have again.
