Falls Porter is, in our humble opinion, one of the best available. Dark, rich, and inviting; it leaves the pallet wanting for more. Only the finest pale, chocolate, crystal and black patent malts are selected for brewing. Only traditional English hops are allowed near the brew kettle. Only during the first day of a New Moon is the secret ingredient added. The result is inky black, and opaque with an incredibly full malt aroma and taste. The fine brown head coats the lip until the last sip. The finish leaves hints of chocolate and coffee. Roast beef, and prime rib feel honored to be served with this brew.

A tolerable brew at best. Pours a dark black colour with a small tan head. Taste was very chocolatey, coffee beans and toffee. Sweet caramel aroma. Mouthfeel is creamy, finishes with subtle hops taste.

It poured a nice dark color with a good beige head. The aroma is espresso like with some notes of milk chocolate. The flavor is quite bitter like biting into coffee beans. Some dark chocolate notes in the background. A little light on the palate is the only complaint I can find. Overall a good beer.
