Falls Pale Ale would be respected on the streets of 19th century England. Traditional in all respects. The warm copper color is the result of our use of pale malted barley, with small additions of caramel and biscuit malt. Falls Pale uses lower hopping rates than the American West Coast cousin to the English Pale. The result is what we consider a more widely accepted beverage. Only English hops are acceptable. A creamy tan, long lasting head rests atop. A great brew to drink while watching the Badgers trounce Ohio State. Also great with a burger and fries.

Now known as Falls Hot Tail Pale Ale, with the label now showing flowing hair down a bare back, replacing flowing water down a bare bluff. The color is a hazy copper with a light, off-white, short-lived head. The aroma is light and fruity, and the mouthfeel seems incomplete. Cider flavors predominate at the expense of malt and hops, little of which make much of an appearance. The finish is sharply acidic. This brew is OK, drinkable, but ultimately not very interesting at all.

Tasted a lot better back in the day with more unappealing label. Pours a light copper colour , little head, evidence of soft citrusy hops, but not overly prevalent. lighter, slightly watered down. and dissapointing to say the least.
