This sour ale was fermented with our house brett culture and barrel aged with a copious amount of wild blueberries. The aroma of ripe fruit is followed by a moderate sourness with lingering berry flavours.

Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 5 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 7

Fizzy red-purple head that disappears rather quickly, leaving not much lace, but a little unfiltered film on the glass. Murky red-purple coloured. Aromas are Bretty with the wild ale culture showing some earthiness, blended with the blueberries and hints of other berries - even cherries. The mouthfeel shows some sourness, fairly thin overall with a little dryness. Really does not feel like a 7% ABV. The fruit is nicely balanced for those who do not like fruity beer (but I do). An easy-drinking blueberry wild ale.
