The recipe for this changes batch-to-batch on the brewer's whim. Names reflect co-brewer and which of their batches this is. The co-brewers are local, non-brewer beer geeks. The Tony Dewald versions hovered around 6.5%. January '08 batch is checking in around 8%.

Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7

On tap. Dark amber brew with a large, thick darker off white creamy head and just a crap load of lacing. The aroma is mainly caramel and soft fruit (orange, grapefruit, lemon). Man, does this beer have a bite or what. Grapefruit... lots of unsweetened grapefruit and tons of GF after taste, apricots, rich malts, lemon, bread, red apple shine, pin. Very easy drinking! Smooth with an obviously large hop presence that just slays the ’buds. Excellent brew.
